Utah ride!
Reply Quote
Rhino04, justinnine and myself have expressed interest in getting together for a ride. We will discuss details here. Anyone that is interested can post here.

Justin from Kaysville, Danny from Tooele, Brad from Spanish Fork.

We should meet up at Little Sahara. My Rhino is set up (flag) and I have not been there - ever. Or we could meet up at 5 mile pass which would be central location for the 3 of us - I have not ridden there, only driven past trail head comming from Tooele. Any other suggestions? A Saturday works best for me.

Saturday works well for me too, I have my flag too I have not been there for about 15 years I remember it cost around 8.00 bucks but that is not bad for a day's ride. I'm really looking forward to going and meeting you guys we will have a great time.

Re: Utah ride!

I'm interested. I was just down there over Presidents day weekend. Went to cherry creek and sand mountain, over 100 miles that weekend. Please let me know!

Hey Ryan - I am still interested and look foward to meeting you guys. Doing a few upgrades this weekend, but any Saturday after that. Lets start posting possible dates and see if we can make it work for everyone interested. Haven't heard from Danny (Tooele) but with him that is 4.

Best way to get there for you would be Center street in Lehi. You take that all the way out past redwood and saratoga springs. It's on the Utah/ Tooele county line. Dunes might be easier for you to get too.

It is a BLM riding area, no fees. It consists of old mining roads, fairly rocky terrain. Let me know when your interested.

Oh I remember now its out west 0f fairfield I've talked my sister into bringing my trailer back from Idaho with her next week so I hope my Rhino will fit on it. So any time after this weekend will work for my. Five mile sounds good too.

I need to get out tomarrow. Have been rejetting and need to test it out. Either way (dunes or 5 mile) is a wash for me - I am about in the middle. If anyone wants to meet up tomarrow it will be a shorter day for me (and I may be changing jets occasionally) but the weather should be good. If not I am good to go in the next few weeks. Saturdays are better for me (I'll bring my wife along), if it is Sunday I may be alone...

Hey Guys,
Live in SLC but the Blue Beaver is up Smith-Morehouse (~7500') with Mattracks until April, or so. Badley, Looks like you have tracks, too. I'll follow along but am "snow locked" for now. Anyone found a helpful shop for mods? One with a Dyno that's willing to test changes for efficiency ( even if for $) I bought mine ('06 660 Special Edition) from Weller's Recreation (between Oakley and Kamas) in the fall and have been tinkering with it since (BRRRRR!! no heating in the shed @ 7500'): so far a Hunterworks CDI and a Dial a Jet-heading out for a run this w/e to see how she runs. I haven't taken it back to the shop yet. Hope to meet up with you guys when I get the tires back on.

Only place in Utah with lots of Rhino stuff is Full throttle in Centerville. They did my clutch and very knowledgable in the Rhino's. EBay is great! I do sell leg minders and cases if interested.

Sorry B. Beaver - no tracks, just Maxis Bighorns and bravery :)

Ryan/Justin/Danny/B.Beaver, lets try and make the Dunes or five mile on one of the next few Saturdays.

Got my Leg minders but I am interested in storage case Ryan. We can trade notes on mods.

Weather looks good this Saturday - Lets roll Utah. Preference ? ( Five mile pass for trails - or Little Sahara for sand) I have not been to either location so if someone can describe a meeting place that would be helpful. Lets meet up Saturday AM - I can be in either location by 8-10 am.
