Anyone have any experience with the Mountain Performance supercharger kit for the rhino? I'd like to hear the good, bad and the ugly if you got it.

I have a friend that just did the mountain power supercharger and CDI box with a power tip and air filter.
His rhino is now the wildest one I have riden in, It will do 71mph like nothing, mine will only do 51 that was a rush!!!
If you can afford it don't look back, good luck and keep it upright.

I have been to their shop and bought their CDI, but not experienced the SC. It looks awesome and they have engineered all the parts to go along with it - intake, CDI, sheave, etc. If you have an extra $4k laying around, uh , why not? I would expect with double the HP you will be spending more for other... likely axles.

I have two friends that have done them. One runs ok and the other has had a nightmare of problems. I would never do it. Just to much of a pain. Who goes that fast for any amount of time anyways? It is half the price of a Rhino almost. Just a waste if you ask me.

What about the water, are you restricted to going in deep water with the supercharger? For instance over the floor board? And what about the turbo system would that be better for more water riding?

The gas tank is moved to the other side under drivers seat and supercharger sits where the gas tank is. I believe water would be an issue, especially if it gets over floor boards. The turbos I have seen are mounted near the exhaust under the bed. IMO I think water would still be a problem. I agree with Bill - a waste.
