I broke mine in just the same way I would ride normally and it has not given me any trouble. I have 488 miles on it since I bought it new last November, I have put a rais power tub on it and a dynatec cdi I get 50 MPH top speed. I have never rejetted either. Mine is a o7 exploring edition.

My rhino went 42 mph stock. That is according to the digital meter anyway. I installed the Grizzley sheave last weekend and picked it up to 44. Got the MSD Charge enhancer today and installed that, now speedo says 54 mph. I have 26" Maxxis Bighorns so am not sure how close the speedo is. I am hoping the law puts a speed check radar trailer close so I can check off that or may talk to the local sherriff and see if he can radar my speed. Or maybe just buy a radar gun for this purpose. I was looking and you can get sports radar for under 200 bucks. It would also be useful to set off the radar detectors of the people speeding on my street. As far as breaking it in I usually just ride like I normally would and vary my speed and not hammer it hard for very long right away. Also check the air filter, some have come dry and they need to be oiled to work.
If it doesn't go force it, if it breaks it should have been replaced anyway
