I have an 07 660 exploring edition that I take to the sand dunes here in Utah all I have done to it is put a rais power tube and a dynitec cdi. It goes ok in the sand but ever were I go in the sand it has to bee full throttle espically up the hills. So I dont know if the 450 will do as well, I've heard that paddles on a rhino dont help much more than the stock tires aired down to 10 or 12 pounds. Hopefully this will give you some insight.

I'm not speaking from experience, but if I were you, I'd load up and go and not worry so much about what a 450 can't do as much as I would look forward to seeing what it can do. A 450 is no slouch and my guess is that it will do just fine in stock form. I'd consider removing the stock intake snorkel and re jet in order to get a little more get up and go but other than that, I would simply enjoy the view. ww
