Make sure to check the level of your float mechanism. If the jets (main/needle jet, pilot and starter) are not sitting in fuel under all situations, there is going to be a running problem.
The stock jet needle has 1 groove, the dynojet jet needle that i have has 5 grooves. Yours may be from a Grizzly or some other application. The best thing to do would be to replace it with a known fit.
With respect to the a/f mixture screw. Unscrew it, blow out the passage with compressed air, screw it in until lightly seated and turn it out 1.75 turns for starters.
