i got a tech bulletin from yamaha and it seems they are offering to put doors on all rhino models for free. safety concerns i guess. my dealership says this is not a joke. they have 15 sets being sent to them initially and put my name on the list to get them installed. just thought i'd pass along this information to ya'll. looks like prices on aftermarket doors will be going down. i've already seen the j-strong doors on sale for $429 with free shipping lol. Just spoke with the service manager at my Yamaha Dealer. He says that there is a tech bulletin out and that they will add the doors to all Yamaha Rhinos -- here is the catch -- they are not the full size or half doors selling for $400+ -- he says they are about 8 inches tall and sound more like the leg minders than actual doors. I am not sure if I am going to do this or not since it will make it more difficult to get in or out, but if I do, he says he has plenty of them in stock. Good luck.

i took my homemade half doors off to get these free ones. i like them better than the ones i'd made so imma keep them on. they open and close good and have jeep style latches on them so getting in and out is no problem. go ahead and get them, i think you'll like them.

I recently had the free doors installed on my 04 rhino. I noticed you can move them back and forth easily when latched and rattle like crazy when you hit a bump. The new rhinos have a round rubber bumper in between the door and the body of the rhino to take up the slack. I pointed this out to my local dealer who installed the doors and he said the door kit didnt come with the bumpers and I would have to pay for the bumpers and install them myself if I wanted to end the rattle. What a crock. Why do the new ones have the bumpers ? Because the freaking doors will rattle like crazy without them. Well I ordered the bumpers and will install them myself. YAMAHA ...... you need to take a look at this issue and correct it if you care about making things right.
