Going to the local atv shop to puchase tires and wheels!  ITPs and Maxxis bighorns 26x12x12 rears,  26x9x12 fronts.  Im a little concerned about the width and highth /power loss. does any body have any input ??

I've been pondering the same thing about my new Rhino.  Just took it out today to a place here in West Texas that is known for sandbox playtime!  Did pretty good with the stock tires and rims, but I was formulating a set of 27's front and back with tens in the front and twelves in the back on the stock rims.  Also, after teetering a few times on some side angles, I was also thinking of some wheel spacers to fatten the stance up a little.  Kind of felt like one of the old Suzuki sidekicks out there today!  Have you thought about wheel spacers?

I'm also wondering about the power loss that will be felt with taller/wider meats.  New CDI possibly?  I've also been looking at the Edlebrock aftermarket carb.

Please lemme know what happens when you go to the taller and bigger tires!

Those Bighorns are going to rub a little on the side flares.  Most of my friends that have those tires and size have cut theirs so that they do not rub there.  The tires are awesome.  I have 1200 miles on mine since last February and they still are in great condition.  I will buy them again!  I have the 25's on mine.

Did you up the width of your bighorns?  I'm in the desert here in El Paso and I'm thinking that I need to widen the tires and stance a little to make it up some of the bigger dunes here.  Plus lesson the chance of a side rollover.  Any thoughts?
