Anyone have any experience with these?  I have a BRP exhaust I'd like to try but I'm not sure if this is nec or if I can just jet-up teh stock carb.  I also want to use this is in the winter without having to re-jet if possable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks    Report

I live in  california  and  never been below freezing.The carb made a big difference in power and is easily adjusted for altitude or exhaust changes. A good spot to find them is on E-bay.    Report

A friend of mine is supposed to be putting the "dial-a-jet" system on his stock Rhino carb.  According to the hype, you can basically dial the system it at whatever metering jet you want simply by turning a knob.  Now that's going to be great for altitude and weather changes! Dunno much on the Rhino Edelbrock carbs. but I used to run one on my street rod and loved it.  If they make the jet, metering rod and spring changing as easy on the Rhino carbs then they are worth it!  Hmmmmm....I've still got that old 650cfm Edelbrock somewhere in the garage.  I wonder........ 06 Rhino 660 Innova Mud Tires Custom Rims Underhood and Cockpit lights Fog lights Custom built pre-runner/brush guard    Report

The instructions show that it has an enrichener on it for cold starting, but I don't see one on mine. Has anyone else had this problem or might no what to do thanks    Report

I really like it for its easy to tune on the trail.  Accelerator pump squirt is adjustable externally and so is the low and mid range. Top end you have to pull the top off the carb and change the needle. My Rhino came with it installed. Original owner put it on. He said it was a big improvement over stock. I would imagine its beter with mods, I also have aftermarket CDI, exhaust and cam. I never have any problems starting, just pump the gas a couple times and it starts right up. The coldest I've had to start it in without a choke is mid 30's. Last weekend we rode in Star Valley Wy., started at 6500ft and up over 9000ft. It was nice to be able to lean out the carb easily at higher elevation. When we goto the dunes it down to around 4000ft. I also welded a bumg for a wide band O2 sensor in to the exhaust. The A/F ratio makes tuning very easy. Hopefully Yamaha will get the 700 EFI motor in there next year.    Report
