I have had no problem with my Bighorns in the dunes. Aired down to 3.5 lbs.

I run 26" bighorns and they are fair. I run them with 7 lbs of air and I can make it to the top of Olds. By far the best sand tire combination I have seen for a stock to fairly stock Rhino are Skat Traks. On of out group has a stock 4 seater with 25" 7 paddle in the rear and smooth up front mounted on a douglas style wheel. He blew by everyone getting up Patton hill. He takes it out in some of the heavier dunes with no problems. I think one of the biggest things is that they are super lite.

I just ordered a set of Skat Traks after talking to Larry, the owner of Skat Trak. I told him I wanted the best tire for the open dunes, out in the big bowls. He makes two sizes of rear paddles for the Rhino, a 25x10.5x12, and a 26x12x12. He said that either size would work far better if mounted on the widest lightweight billet wheels you can get (a 7" wide wheel doesn't work nearly as well). And when mounted on the wide wheels the 26" rear paddle actually ends up being 25" tall, but it has a wider rounder profile that works better. I ordered a set of 8 paddle extremes mounted on the 10" wide billet .190 douglas wheels just last week. Haven't got them yet, so I'll have to let you know how they work.

HOW DID THE TIRES WORK OUT FOR YOU I'M LOOKING AT THE 26X12X12. WHAT IS A FAIR PRICE TO PAY.

Ok all i do is ride sand (pismo CA.) and the closer you stay to stock the better it moves. I have the terra cross with bead locks and run them at 3 psi and out run and go up hills better then paddels 660 rhinos dont seam to have the power for the paddels or the big tire

I am still waiting on hearing about the skattraks. These are light weight paddles and would work well. I am curious about the weight of the rhino with them.

On thanksgiving at pismo this year ther was a lot of paddels for sail for a rhino and i persanly saw 2 side x sides geting towed to camp for blowing the sidewalls out on the light whight paddels but i dont know if they where paddels for a quad
