For the past 2 weeks I have been
working on painting my Rhino. Here are some pictures. I
still have some graphics to add. This has been painted with
Krylon Fusion paint. I
removed each piece and used a blow dryer to remove the stickers.
The best way is to heat it up for a minute or so and then peel one
end and then have someone hold the dryer on it while you peel.
I then removed the grill pieces from the hood and tail lights from
the rear. I put everything that I took off in plastic storage
bags and labeled them with a permanent marker as to what pieces they
were for when I put it back together. Then I thoroughly washed
the plastics and dried them. I purchased some fine steel wool
to remove the shine from the plastics rubbing in one direction.
To be continued. |
